Large 9" flower spikes begin appearing in mid summer and emerge a pristine white then quickly change to pink.
After this shrub's flowers have all turned to pink, the show continues as the leaves turn crimson maroon and remain attached until the early winter months.
Our hats off to the National Arboretum for this brilliant New Flowering Shrub! It was the result of hand-crossing 2 of our favorite Oakleaf Hydrangeas: Hydrangea Snow Queen was crossed with Hydrangea q. PeeWee.
