Great Garden Plants, Inc. sprouted on the scene in the summer of 2006 and is the seed-child

of Mary Walters, president and Chris Hansen, vice president, both of whom are avid gardeners, wholesale/retail nursery professionals and photographers with over 40 years experience between them. The idea to launch Great Garden
Plants grew out of Mary and Chris' passion for gardening and an understanding of what people need and want as they create gardens that reflect their lifestyles, local growing conditions, and budgets. Garden solutions are created using an artistic approach to color, texture, soil conditions, growing seasons and even critter control.
Mary and Chris' extensive travels have allowed them to create collections based on particular conditions, such as sun/shade-loving areas or drought tolerant conditions all while ensuring season-long interest.
