About Coreopsis
Coreopsis are a colorful and carefree addition to the perennial garden. They are valued for their long bloom time and attracting butterflies. Coreopsis Redshift bears golden yellow flowers with red centers. The red centers are pronounced during cool temperature and flower from early summer to fall. Deadheading prolongs the blooming time. The daisy like flowers are notched at the tips of the petals and rise well above the plant on slender stems.
Coreopsis needs full sun and well drained soil and can take the heat and humidity of summer. Once established, they are drought tolerant.
Introduced by Darrell Probst, this hybrid is part of his Big Bang series of ultra hardy, long blooming, vigorous Coreopsis breeding program.
