With their colorful foliage, Heucheras are the perfect shade perennial for the front of the border, containers, or in planted in groupings (combine a number of varieties). We've distilled a lengthy list of this shade garden perennial to a few of our colorful favorites, both old and new. Heucheras or coral bells do well in soil with good drainage and where some organic matter has been added. As a general rule, Heucheras do well in shade, but we prefer some morning sun which bring out more intense coloring in Marmalade.
