Lysimachia nummularia Aurea is a fast spreading ground cover. Common names including Creeping Charley, Creeping Jenny, Moneywort, Loosestrife. The common name moneywort comes from the round coin-shaped leaves. This ground cover remains low growing and will spreading indefinitely. As a rule, it will root where leaf nodes come in contact with the soil. It thrives in damp soils in either sun or shade. If grown in shade, the foliage color will be lime green. If grown in full sun the foliage color turns a brilliant yellow. Best planted in an area where it can roam.
