Description
Plant spacing is based on the ultimate width of the plants. This figure is normally given as a range; for example, 3-5’. If you live in a cold climate and/or want plants to fill in more quickly, plan to space at the shorter end of the range. If you live in a warm climate, are on a limited budget, or are willing to wait longer for plants to touch, use the higher end of the range. Using the larger number is recommended when calculating distance from a building or structure. There’s really no such thing as "maximum spacing": if you don’t want your plants to touch, you can space them as far apart as you’d like. All plant spacing is calculated on center, or in other words, the centers of the plants are spaced one half of their eventual width apart:
Unless you are planting in a straight line, as you might for hedges or edging, space your plants in a staggered or zig-zag pattern for a more interesting and naturalistic look:

Very small plant. Planted in same location as thriving wee white. Any leaves on arrival dropped within a day and then just dead looking twigs ever since and now I cannot even see any type of notable branches or leaves. My other wee white from a big box store has leafed out and has buds. The cheap price is tempting but you get what you pay for and will end spending even more replacing your plants. I feel like something affected everything in my shipment box because only 5 of the 19 plants I purchased appear alive with growth. Plants purchased elsewhere planted at same time are thriving. Maybe don’t purchase too much at once

The first shipment arrived with the plant in bad shape, with many dead and shriveled leaves, many already turning black. When I requested a replacement it was sent right away, which I appreciate. But the second arrived in worse condition than the first and has since succumbed. The first one is still hanging on, but i am giving it a lot of TLC. I am an experienced gardener and followed the care instructions that came with the plants exactly. I am sorry to say that I will not be a future customer.

I wish I'd taken pictures in hindsight to just send them back. More than half of the leaves were dead & shriveled up upon arrival.
When the hydrangea shrubs arrived, I put them in pots and in a protected spot. They have tripled in size! I will wait until the temps cool down before I plant them in the ground. The are so healthy. Thank you!
Love the plant. Arrived on time. Will definitely order from them again when needed.
