Didn’t thrive

I have had great luck with ordering plants from here, however, I ordered nine of the wild berry heuchera last August. All nine died this winter which made me sad because that’s a lot of money that I won’t see again. One suggestion is to use less plastic wrap for shipping.

I am use to mail order plants being less than I hope for, less than I expect, their quality, size ,etc. being exaggerated. I was pleasantly surprised when my thuja trees came today, much better quality than I expected and the size they were advertised to be. Five stars it is and highly recommend!!

Great Garden Plants
Growing beautifully, just as expected!

I purchased two of these in one quart containers 11/2022. Today is March 20, 2023 and they are doing extremely well. The winter in Northern California has been unusally cold with heavy storms, flooding and heavy wind advisories almost none stop the entire summer. I planted both as soon as I received and as of today, I can say both are doing extremely well. Arrived packaged nicely and was as healthy as ever. I'm really looking forward to the day these roses start growing on my courtyard entrance gate. Will post more pictures as the roses mature. Thanks Great Garden Plants, these are a Winner!

Haven't been able to find them the last few years in my local nurseries and sick of dry root plants on line. Skeptical on how my gallon plants would arrive and they are beautiful and healthy and very well packaged. I'll definitely order again!

Quart size rose is small

The plant size shown was larger than I received. I ordered 8 roses and they were extremely small, young looking and one doesn’t look very healthy at all. Very disappointed.

Heartbreak

My husband and I were so excited! Putting in berries, roses, pea gravel paths and yippie chicks and the Taj Mahal of Coops! My husband died unexpectedly in just seconds. Great Gardens made communication and canceling the order easy, sometimes that’s as important as making sure the order arrives as expected. Tell those you love, YOU LOVE THEM. And don’t be too busy to get in the dirt and plant something with your family. It will be a rememberence should the unthinkable happen. God bless you!

Survived the harshest winter

I started planting Mazus as a ground cover years ago, due to having far too many beds to mulch. I was not disappointed when it started to take over the lawn - neighbors comment on its beauty each spring, and it is such low maintenance! I struggled to get enough from my local nursery, so bought two sets of 32 landscape plugs from GGP late last summer. I was so impressed with the packaging and plant quality - deep roots, healthy plants that were not all entangled. Mere weeks after planting, they were spreading beautifully. Then we had a week of record-breaking cold, so I feared the worst. But with some warm days, I see them starting to green up again! Buying even more from GGP - so very pleased with the quality!

roses were small but green and healthy when received. Planted in yard. One lost leaves and died. The other grew slightly and flowered. Do not know yet if it made it through the winter.
