Container Gardening with Colorful Foliage
There are endless possibilities when planting perennials in containers.
1) First explore different colored containers. A yellow or white container can enliven up dark foliage plants. Contrastly a black container can enhance yellow foliage or flowering plants. Selecting a large container for 3-5 plants to mix and match.
2) Foliage combinations. Using perennials with foliage color guarantees color throughout spring-fall. Blooming plants are the bonus!
3) Shape & Size. The more you can mix it up the more interesting your results will be.
