Cytisus Sister Redhead® Description
The glorious vivid red of Sister Redhead® Scotch broom (Cytisus scoparius) proves springtime needn’t be all soft tones and pastels! We love this bold color paired with any spring bulbs – imagine it planted alongside yellow daffodils, purple iris, or white tulips. Let your creativity run wild and use it to create your own truly memorable color combinations.
This sturdy Scotch broom grows with a fountain-like habit of neat little green leaves along wiry green stems. The red flowers have a painterly dot of yellow and cover the plant in spring.
