Soil: Grow in any moist, well-draining soil.
Light: Its best performance is achieved in full sun.
Water: Average, but can withstand drought.
Space: 4 feet apart
Fertilizing: A granular rose or all purpose garden fertilizer can be applied in early spring if desired.
Winterizing: Laying down a 2-3" layer of mulch at the base can help keep the plant more moist.
