Phlox 'Opening Act Blush' Description

Just what your pollinator garden ordered. ‘Opening Act Blush’ tall garden phlox not only blooms earlier than other varieties, but for much longer. Starting in early summer and reblooming sporadically into fall, you and the bees will get plenty of enjoyment from these fragrant, lavender-pink flowers. PLANTING GUIDE

Soil: Performs best in well-drained soil.
Light: Phlox grow best in full sun.
Water: Has average water needs.
Spacing: 1.5 to 2 feet apart
Fertilizing: If desired, apply a very small amount of all purpose garden fertilizer around the base of the plant in spring.
Winterizing: Leave foliage standing in winter and clean up spent foliage in spring.
Maintenance & pruning: Thin or prune by half in spring and prune spent flowers off after bloom, just above the foliage to encourage more blooms.
