Quince Double Take Orange® Description

Thrives where other shrubs fail and no thorns means no ugly scratches!

Welcome the spring gardening season with cheery orange camellia-like blooms!

Tough as nails shrub takes on clay soil, drought - even erosion.

Best selling Quince on the market today!  Flowers resemble orange petticoats and measure a whopping 3 1/2".  They flower all the way up the stems even to the tip of the branches.  Blooms occasionally repeat and make a welcome addition to spring bouquets. Blooms before the leaves unfold. Makes an colorful, low growing hedge plant and so easy to care for!

Orange Storm is a no-fruiting deciduous shrub that blooms on old wood.  it has a mounded habit that can be pruned after flowering to shape the plant.

You'll love the fact that there are no thorny branches to deal with.  Old fashion quince shrubs produced small sharp thorns often growing a towering 10-12 feet tall.  Orange Storm is pleasingly compact at only 3-4 feet making it ideal for small gardens.  Dark glossy green leaves stay attractive all season long.

A carefree shrub for full sun to part shade. It thrives in fertile soil, and highly adaptable to clay soil.  Drought, deer and heat proof once established.  You'll do a double take when this beauty is in flower.
