Soil: Performs best in well-draining neutral to alkaline soils.
Light: Full sun (6+ hrs/day)
Water: Prefers average moisture, but too much water may result in root rot and too little water during bloom time can shorten flowering period.
Space: 3 feet apart
Fertilizing: Apply a granular rose or all purpose garden fertilizer in early spring and if desired, again after the first round of bloom has finished.
Winterizing: A good 2-3" layer of mulch is recommended.
Maintenance: Blooms on both old and new wood, so should only be pruned after their spring bloom. A light trim will neaten the appearance and encourage new growth.
