Enduring Summer Crepe Myrtle (Lagerstroemeria) is a compact crepe myrtle growing 4-5 tall x wide. it forms a nice dence habit making it ideal for privacy or hedge use. This popular variety is ideal for container growing for placement on patios, or entryways. Often grown in northern climates, where containers can be brought in for winter protection.
Clusters of bright lavender blooms start in early summer on new growth blooming earlier and longer than other crepe myrtles. Cut blooms for attractive vase arrangements. Berries are produced after flowering.
Natural shape - that needs no pruning like other taller forms.
Adaptable to a wide variety of soils, as long as it is well drained. Avoid soggy sites. Grow in full sun.

Fertilizing: Light scattering of slow release fertilizer (such as Osmocote) in mid-spring is sufficient.

Maintenance & Pruning: Any pruning should be done immediately after flowering since blooms flower on old wood the next season. Pruning will help to shape the plant and keep it tidy in the landscape, however, it does have a naturally round shape.
