Soil: Very adaptable to a wide range of soil types as long as it drains well, as it will not tolerate standing water. It is not particular as to soil type or pH, and is able to handle salt from roads or sea spray. It is highly tolerant of urban pollution.
Light: Sun to partial shade
Water: Average water needs. Water regularly; do not over water.
Fertilizing: Fertilizer needs are low. If you wish, apply a granular garden or rose fertilizer in early spring.
Winterizing: No specific care needed.
Maintenance & pruning:Requires no regular pruning, but may be pruned in early spring to promote dense, new growth.
