Diervilla Kodiak® Red Description
Kodiak® Red diervilla (Diervilla sp.) is a super tough North American native shrub with cheerful red spring foliage you'll love. As the season progresses, it turns a handsome deep green with hints of red before transforming to vivid red in fall. This shrub has clusters of small bright yellow flowers throughout summer and into fall with distinctive red seed pods in fall. Sometimes called bush honeysuckle, diervilla adapts to most soils and grows well even in dry shade (though the best color develops with at least some sun each day).
Diervilla Kodiak Red is a hard-working, easy-care landscape plant that can be used on its own as a hedge or border or mixed with other plants. Colorful foliage is very neat and tidy, resisting pests and disease.
