Fireworks in the Shade Collection Description
A little sun will bring out the sparkle in perennial Coral Bells.
How do you create an all-season shade garden with color? Add in a variety of Heuchera plants in a rich range of foliage color that is setting a new standard in shade garden design. There are a lot of great varieties available. We've paired a few favorites that sparkle when grouped together. Heucheras are highly sun tolerant if given plenty of water, but their ideal location is where they receive a few hours of sun. This helps bring out the best color in your plants.
Grow in Containers. Coral Bells is a tough perennial that grow well in all sorts of containers while requiring minimal maintenance. Select any container with good drainage holes and place in a protected site. (For winter protection, see our Gardening Info article on overwintering containers).
Combine colors together for a riotous mix or go with a color theme. Stunning, when planted with contrasting foliage and color. Consider Acorus or Carex as good pairing partners.
