Fothergilla gardenii is multi seasonal shrub that makes a perfect low growing hedge plant or specimen.

Spring brings hundreds of bottle brush-like honey-scented fragrant flowers to this dwarf witch alder. The show continues thru the summer with apple-green clean foliage. Fall, however, is when this colorful garden shrub really shines! Leaves turn to fiery hues of orange and red brightening any garden landscape and stopping traffic on the highways!

Plant dwarf fothergilla with colorful heuchera, spring flowering hellebores, or with other flowering shrubs such as hydrangeas.
