Hydrangea pan Bobo® Description
Ultra hardy & compact growing habit set this new hydrangea apart from the rest!
Bobo™ is covered with large white blooms by summer, which are held upright on strong stiff stems. Honestly, we have never seen such an abundance of blooms on such a compact hydrangea. By fall, blooms take on an attractive pinkish blush, and continue to bloom until fall.
Bobo™ blooms on new wood, so there will always be blooms no matter what pruning or climate you live in.
Hydrangea Bobo™ vigorously grows to 3' tall and wide while producing vast quantities of flower heads that make great long-lasting cut flowers. Often lasting for more than 12 days in a vase. Winner of the 2010 Gold Floral award.
Bobo™ Hydrangea makes the perfect long-blooming hedge plant for driveways or fence lines. This compact hydrangea is also a superb companion to the drought-proof hellebores, heucheras, and long-blooming KnockOut roses.
Hydrangeas are continuing to take the flowering shrub world by storm. They are widely adaptable to both clay and sandy soil provided they are given copious amounts of water during the prolonged summer dry spells.

PLANTING GUIDE
Soil: Best grown in organically rich, medium moisture, well-drained soils.
Light: Most varieties tolerate full sun in the North, but benefit from afternoon shade. In the South, plants require afternoon shade. Tolerates full sun only if grown with consistent moisture. Intolerant of drought, with foliage tending to decline considerably in dry conditions
Water: Water to keep soil moist, but not wet. Mulch to conserve moisture and buffer soil temperatures, keeping mulch a few inches away from main stems to avoid rot.
Spacing: 3 feet
Fertilizing: Fertilize once in spring with a fertilizer designed to encourage blooms (such as 15-30-15).
Winterizing: This is one of the most winter hardy of the hydrangeas. Remove and destroy any fallen foliage that was infected by powdery mildew.
Maintenance & pruning: Because of its compact habit, it rarely needs pruning, but any trimming or shaping should be done before August (to be safe), so as not to damage flower buds forming for the next year's blooms. In spring, only prune out dead wood once the new growth has emerged. Young plants may be transplanted when dormant in early spring.Reviews
Write a reviewWonderful plants.Kristen DeP | Jun 30, 2015I just wanted to thank you for the amazing and beautiful, excellent quality plants I received from you. The front of my home faces northand I can never find beautiful shade plants in my local nurseries. The only mildly interesting plants I could ever find were Hostas. That is,until I find your website! I was so shocked that so many beautiful plants and flowers were available for shade! I've ordered plants online before and have always been disappointed. Ieither receive bare root plants that are dead by the time I receive them, or they're packaged so badly they arrive crushed and mangled, or they're so tiny they rarely take and when they do it takes forever to grow into something you can see. I was so shocked and surprised how beautiful the plants were that you shipped me! They were packaged really well, they were established, they were moist and in awesome condition! Thank you so much for providing such quality plants! You have earned yourself a customer for life! Keep up the great work and know that your efforts are appreciated. I feel it's important to let companies know when they're doing a great job and you guys are doing a STELLAR job. (And I've told ALL my friends and neighbors about your site!)
Lovely Hydrangeas!Adrienne V | Jun 29, 2014I ordered from you for the first time, and I needed to send you this email to tell you how pleased I am with my purchase of 14 hydrangeas. I have never been so impressed with mail order nursery stock-- your packaging was EXCELLENT. The plants are LARGE and HEALTHY, and arrived in perfect condition despite being shipped during end-of-June heat. The careful packaging just floored me!!!! I can;t wait too spread the word to my plant-loving friends about your business, and I canl' wait to order again! THANK YOU!!!!
