Incrediball® Hydrangea Description
Incrediball hydrangea boasts dozens of giant 12" pure white blooms for over 2 months!
Incrediball hydrangea was developed by Proven Winners ColorChoice Shrubs as a stronger, non-flopping replacement to 'Annabelle' hydrangea. This selection has sturdy, thick stems, so the flowers stay upright & out of the mud all summer long. Amazingly, the blooms are also twice the size of 'Annabelle' for a truly stunning display.
The flower show begins in mid summer with masses of the giant white blooms. Then, the huge globes turn a brilliant shade of chartreuse green and continue their show into the fall season. Nice for cut flowers, both fresh and dried.
The perfect 5' tall habit of Incrediball hydrangea makes it an ideal specimen or flowering hedge. You can't go wrong with this new, improved version of the old fashioned favorite.

Soil: Any average, well-drained soil will do. Avoid wet conditions. Can tolerate somewhat dry conditions but flowering may be compromised. A good 2-3" layer of shredded bark mulch keeps roots cool and conserves moisture.
Light: Most varieties tolerate full sun in the north, but benefit from afternoon shade. Tolerates full sun only if grown with consistent moisture. In the South, plants require afternoon shade. If plants wilt frequently, that's a good indicator that the spot is a bit too sunny. If flower color is pale, or stems are weak, that indicates the site is a bit too shady.
Water: Water to keep soil moist, but not wet.
Spacing: 4 - 5 ft.
Fertilizing: Fertilize once in spring with a granular fertilizer formulated for roses.
Winterizing: Leave intact over winter and keep 2-3" mulch in place.
Maintenance & pruning: This variety blooms on new wood. In late winter or early spring, cut stems back by about one-third their total height, which builds a strong woody base while also encouraging abundant new growth for lots of flowers and a lush, full look. Young plants may be transplanted when dormant in early spring if desired.
ReviewsWrite a reviewDisappointingDeb Rowell | Sep 15, 2020Receive a hydrangea that was all of 2-3 inches tall. Black on leaves of longer leaves. Way over paid for this size plant!! Contacted customer service with my disappointment and never heard anything back. The plant I received I would have expected to pay $5 maybe for. Completely rip off!Owner Response: According to the notes in your order, we are waiting for pictures of the plant in question. We need this to be able to process the warranty. Please send picture to email@example.com -- Management

I took pictures of them both.Owner Response: Hello - I made notations in your order, and have extended your warranty until 9.2.2020 - that will give them plenty of time to bounce back after the stress of shipping. Wonderful plants.Kristen DeP | Jun 30, 2015I just wanted to thank you for the amazing and beautiful, excellent quality plants I received from you. The front of my home faces northand I can never find beautiful shade plants in my local nurseries. The only mildly interesting plants I could ever find were Hostas. That is,until I find your website! I was so shocked that so many beautiful plants and flowers were available for shade! I've ordered plants online before and have always been disappointed. Ieither receive bare root plants that are dead by the time I receive them, or they're packaged so badly they arrive crushed and mangled, or they're so tiny they rarely take and when they do it takes forever to grow into something you can see. I was so shocked and surprised how beautiful the plants were that you shipped me! They were packaged really well, they were established, they were moist and in awesome condition! Thank you so much for providing such quality plants! You have earned yourself a customer for life! Keep up the great work and know that your efforts are appreciated. I feel it's important to let companies know when they're doing a great job and you guys are doing a STELLAR job. (And I've told ALL my friends and neighbors about your site!)
Lovely Hydrangeas!Adrienne V | Jun 29, 2014I ordered from you for the first time, and I needed to send you this email to tell you how pleased I am with my purchase of 14 hydrangeas. I have never been so impressed with mail order nursery stock-- your packaging was EXCELLENT. The plants are LARGE and HEALTHY, and arrived in perfect condition despite being shipped during end-of-June heat. The careful packaging just floored me!!!! I can;t wait too spread the word to my plant-loving friends about your business, and I canl' wait to order again! THANK YOU!!!!
