Fragrant Climbers Collection Description
Fragrant Climbing Rose Collection
Roses have long been prized their fragrance and when you select climbing roses to include in your garden, trained up over arbors or trellises they can perfume the whole garden.
Climbing roses can grace walls and fences, grow on pillars or intermingle with free-standing shrubs. Climbers can help disguise unsightly features, serve as a privacy screen or give height to the summer garden. Use as a groundcover on a bank or hillside where they are allowed to ramble naturally.
Plant together if desired, for a medley of color or separately if desired. Select other type of climbers such as clematis or honeysuckle to add interest to your garden design.
Climbing roses are vigorous and produce exuberant blooms from summer until first frost.
Many climbing roses flower well for years with little pruning except to removal dead or weak growth. Prune them in the fall, after flowering to about 30 inches or so.
