Description
Plant spacing is based on the ultimate width of the plants. This figure is normally given as a range; for example, 3-5’. If you live in a cold climate and/or want plants to fill in more quickly, plan to space at the shorter end of the range. If you live in a warm climate, are on a limited budget, or are willing to wait longer for plants to touch, use the higher end of the range. Using the larger number is recommended when calculating distance from a building or structure. There’s really no such thing as "maximum spacing": if you don’t want your plants to touch, you can space them as far apart as you’d like. All plant spacing is calculated on center, or in other words, the centers of the plants are spaced one half of their eventual width apart:
Unless you are planting in a straight line, as you might for hedges or edging, space your plants in a staggered or zig-zag pattern for a more interesting and naturalistic look:

Finally got all 5 trees planted; am looking forward to the growth and privacy they will give me from the current view I now have. They arrived in very good shape. Thanks so much.

Arrived today. Boxed wonderfully so they wouldn't smash each other. Top is a bit bowed from fitting into the box, but already straightening out after a few hours.
Definitely will order more...
Thank you!!
Four of the 10 arbs came very bent. In fact, they were in an L shape when I got them out of the box. Those four are now looking very sad and brown and I doubt they will make it! Otherwise, the rest looked great and are doing good!

Received 6 2.5 qt Green Giant Thujas. Had previously ordered 10 from Fast Growing Trees and lost 6/10. The Thujas from Great Garden plants were at least double the size and half the price of the original 10 we ordered from the competition. EXTREMELY healthy plants upon arrival. Shipping was fast and they were packaged well and arrived without damage. Would not hesitate to make another purchase from Great Garden Plants.
I believe I have already sent you my review. I'm pleased with my order, though haven't planted yet. I called and spoke to your rep and was impressed with her knowledge. Thank you
