Polystichum polyblepharum Description
Large, glossy 1-2' long fronds on this evergreen hardy fern brighten up any part of the shade garden.
This easy-to-grow, hardy fern is one of the most beautiful of all ferns in cultivation.
Polystichum has shiny foliage that looks good all year-round, but can be trimmed off in late winter to make way for the new, apple-green colored new growth.
Tassel fern is extremely hardy, and makes a superb container plant where it combines well with colorful heucheras, bold-foliage hostas, and other shade plants.
