Soil: Prefers average to sandy.
Light: Full sun to part shade
Water: After establishment, water occasionally during the hot season.
Spacing: 18-24 inches
Fertilizing: Fertilize in spring.
Maintenance & pruning: Many perennials will continue to bloom much longer if pinched or deadheaded once the blooms are past. Cutting and creating cut flower bouquets helps to encourage a second flush of blooms. Once a week pull weeds, deadhead or pinch flowers, and tidy up your perennial bed. Maintaining a lovely perennial garden will be quicker and easier if done once a week!
