Soil: Average, medium moisture, well-drained soils. Adapts to a variety of soils.
Light: Full sun to part shade
Water: Medium - Prefers consistent moisture.
Spacing: 18 - 24 inches
Fertilizing: Avoid high-nitrogen fertilizers. Use bone meal or other phosphorus rich fertilizer when needed
Winterizing: No special care needed. If pruning is needed, do in late winter when winter extremes are over.
