Soil: Average, medium moisture, well-drained soils. Thrives in sandy to gravelly soils of moderate to low fertility.  Needs sharp soil drainage to perform well. Prefers moist soils with good drainage.
Light: Does best in full sun to partial shade
Water: Medium to dry -- Considered drought-tolerant once established. Over watering will impair growth.
Spacing: 12" - 18"
Fertilizing: On average soil, seldom needs fertilizer. A handful of all-purpose granular fertilizer sprinkled on the soil each spring is generally all that is needed for poorer soils. If growing in rich soil, it should only be fertilized every other year. Dry granular fertilizers must be watered into the soil
Winterizing: A Tender Sedum, needs to be brought indoors for the winter. Each plant will vary in terms of winter temperatures, but overall succulents should be brought inside when the night temps start dropping below 50. Most succulents need at least a 2 month rest period. Place dormant succulent in an area with at least three of four hours of bright light around 50-55 degrees F during the winter. Succulents need less light during the winter.
Water plants deeply but less often in the winter. Water the plants about once every one or two months. Check the leaves every month for aphids or mealy bugs. If infested, isolate from other plants. Fill a spray bottle with 3 parts rubbing alcohol mixed with 1 part water and mist the plant to kill the pests. Repeat process until pests are gone
Maintenance & Pruning: Easy to trim to keep the size you want. Divide or take cuttings at any time.
