Coreopsis 'Moonbeam' Description
Coreopsis Moonbeam is a widely adaptable, low maintenance, carefree ground cover with mounded form and fern-like leaves that remain an emerald green color throughout the season.
Beginning in early summer, Moonbeam is smothered in cheerful, buttery yellow daisy-like blooms that last well into fall.
Coreopsis Moonbeam just doesn't know when to quit blooming all the while thriving in hot sunny sites and poor soil! Endless perennial combinations include KnockOut Roses, echinaceas, sedum, or ornamental grasses.
Grows in well-drained soil in either dry or moist sites in full sun. Space 18 inches apart.

Soil: Plant in moist, well drained soil. Thrives in a wide range of soils.
Light: Full sun
Water: Average to moist. Water weekly, or more often in extreme heat, until established. Watering may be reduced after establishment.
Spacing: 12-16 inches
Fertilizing: Seldom needs fertilizing if soil is good to average. On very poor soils, can feed lightly with a general purpose, or timed release fertilizer (such as "Osmocote"), before new growth begins in spring.
Winterizing: No special care needed. Remove spent foliage in spring before new growth appears.
Maintenance & pruning: For repeated bloom, shear old flowers.
