Cotinus Winecraft Gold® Description
Strike it rich in your landscape with the bright, cheery foliage of Winecraft Gold smokebush (Cotinus coggygria). Developed by plant breeder Corinne Liquiere in France, it combines a super colorful display with an appealing compact habit that doesn't become rangy and awkward like other smokebush. Soft, wispy flowers begin to appear in early summer; these soon give way to the big billows of "smoke," which are actually the seedheads of the plant. They persist through summer for a fantastic display that will surely rake in the compliments.
