Plant spacing is based on the ultimate width of the plants. This figure is normally given as a range; for example, 3-5’. If you live in a cold climate and/or want plants to fill in more quickly, plan to space at the shorter end of the range. If you live in a warm climate, are on a limited budget, or are willing to wait longer for plants to touch, use the higher end of the range. Using the larger number is recommended when calculating distance from a building or structure. There’s really no such thing as "maximum spacing": if you don’t want your plants to touch, you can space them as far apart as you’d like. All plant spacing is calculated on center, or in other words, the centers of the plants are spaced one half of their eventual width apart:
Unless you are planting in a straight line, as you might for hedges or edging, space your plants in a staggered or zig-zag pattern for a more interesting and naturalistic look:

Let me start by saying that the plants I ordered were delivered promptly and were of healthy quality. No issues there. All good on the product.
However, customer service is lacking here. After scheduling my order for a specific date to ship, I contacted the seller before open of business that day to either postpone or cancel the order. The customer service reps--both online and by email--refused to accept that request. The order had not shipped, but they bluntly refused to stop its shipment. They even refused to try. Days later, when the order arrived, I emailed in asking how to return for a a refund. Weeks later, I have received no response to that inquiry.
Bottom line, proceed with caution knowing that flexibility and customer service are not options.

Plants arrived in a timely manner and well packaged. I have had these lavenders in the past and are amazing.
The plants came in great condition, on time and no complaints at all.
You sent very nice plants. Do you have more "Phenomenal" or a variety that is even more tolerant of humidity and heavy rain? Thanks! Dave in Houston
Hello! We do still have Phenomenal® lavender in stock. Not a lot of lavender can tolerate a lot of heavy rain without well draining soil. It grows best in dry, sunny spots in the garden, and pairs well with Sensational!® lavender. Both varieties are fragrant, drought-tolerant once established, and need full sun.
