Plant Spacing

Plant spacing is based on the ultimate width of the plants. This figure is normally given as a range; for example, 3-5’. If you live in a cold climate and/or want plants to fill in more quickly, plan to space at the shorter end of the range. If you live in a warm climate, are on a limited budget, or are willing to wait longer for plants to touch, use the higher end of the range. Using the larger number is recommended when calculating distance from a building or structure. There’s really no such thing as "maximum spacing": if you don’t want your plants to touch, you can space them as far apart as you’d like. All plant spacing is calculated on center, or in other words, the centers of the plants are spaced one half of their eventual width apart:

Description Lighter purple coloration, larger flowers, and stronger stems set 'Bubble Bath' allium apart from other alliums in the landscape. Globular flower clusters are not only larger (reaching 3" in diameter), but they are packed full of more flowers, making them appear effervescent as they bloom in the landscape. Though they bloom in late summer and early fall, their glaucous blue-green foliage keeps them looking appealing all season long.

Perennial allium is beloved by gardeners, but more importantly, it attracts butterflies and honeybees in troves. Each flower head is made of hundreds of nectar-rich flowers, which are an essential food source for pollinators in late summer and early fall. While most love it, pests (like deer and rabbits) find it distasteful and tend to leave it unbothered. Bubble Bath

Arrived in great shape. After giving them a good drink of water and letting them sit for a couple days to get over the trauma of shipping I planted them. They have been planted now for about three weeks and they are doing wonderful! This is the only place I buy my trees, bushes and plants from. I have never once had any complaints as to how they arrived or how well have grown.

Whimsical and cute

I planted 3 of these this spring in a spot that gets probably less than 4 hours of direct sun. Two of the 3 bloomed already, very delicate and cute blossoms.
