Plant Spacing

Plant spacing is based on the ultimate width of the plants. This figure is normally given as a range; for example, 3-5’. If you live in a cold climate and/or want plants to fill in more quickly, plan to space at the shorter end of the range. If you live in a warm climate, are on a limited budget, or are willing to wait longer for plants to touch, use the higher end of the range. Using the larger number is recommended when calculating distance from a building or structure. There’s really no such thing as "maximum spacing": if you don’t want your plants to touch, you can space them as far apart as you’d like. All plant spacing is calculated on center, or in other words, the centers of the plants are spaced one half of their eventual width apart:

Uptick Is Ticking Along

All plants arrived in great condition. I had to hold off planting for a week because of rain and a cold snap. They have been in the ground about three weeks and have grown a lot, They are already getting buds on them. Can’t wait until they bloom.

Wonderful Katie!

Ordering late during a hot season wasn't the best idea I've ever had, but I did it anyway. Katie held the shipping until after the July 4th holiday to make sure the plants wouldn't be stuck on a hot truck for too long. Despite the care 4 of the 5 plants were at the end of their rope when they arrived. I called Katie and sent pictures that included the DOA's [following the instructions that come with the plants, and are also on this site]. She sent replacements immediately and they all arrived in perfect condition, flourishing when planted.
I cannot say enough about the absolutely over-the-top service from this company, and no, I wasn't paid or given prizes, just GREAT service!

2 of the 6 looked pretty rough when they arrived. The other 4 gradually succumbed. Wrong plants for Texas I think
