Bleeding Hearts received

Of the two plants I received, only one survived. I tried to salvage the second one by seeing if I could get it to root again, but that did not work. Next time I will wait until my local nursery has them in stock in the early Spring. This was a disappointment because I am concerned if the salvaged plant will even produce blooms in another year or two.

At first the first batch we received was not healthy enough the second batch I received was extremely healthy and they’re already blooming

The bleeding heart is not blooming. Last fall I planted another bleeding heart bulb and it is in full bloom and much bigger and stronger than the one from Great Garden Plants.

Hello Ingrid!
Thanks for taking the time to leave your review, we appreciate it. We ship all of our plants as young plants, by this time next year your plant should be doing much better! Also Bleeding hearts do go dormant from heat so it may just be going dormant. That's totally normal, and it will be back next year. Even though your other one is growing more vigorously, it will have experienced a lot more heat growing in the greenhouse than an outdoor plant would have. Let us know if you have any other questions!
