Replaced my front lawn with this ajuga!

Tired of crabgrass, brown spots and mowing, I tore out my small front lawn and replaced it with 52 of these Parrots. It looked like a small field of lettuce. We've had lots of rain and they've doubled in size already in 5 weeks, with lots of blooms!

Terrific Plant!

I ordered ten of these to use as ground cover in a partly shady area. I have had success with bugleweed before, but wanted something a little larger and more eye-catching than the usual dark-leaved kind. These are perfect. They arrived well-packaged and healthy, with some blooms on them. I got them in the ground and they are doing well. I think I even saw a couple of new leaves after only two days! They multi-colored effect is lovely, with the leaves having a sort of "ombre" effect" of gold/russet/green hues. It's subtle but it packs a punch, and the texture of the leaves is nice too. I might order more when they come back in stock. This is the only place I have found them!

Not once but twice happy and well satisfied *****

I ordered 12 in my first order and all arrived in great condition. I actually needed more, when they had BOGO I bought 25 more and got 25. The packaging is unique to what I have found from other online suppliers. Breaking the cardboard in the center, then pushing out the indented card board, plants lift right out. I ordered 2 other plants in the 50 count order. All their plants must ship this way. It is VERY SECURE, the plants are PROTECTED and STABLE for shipping. They are not teeny plants like I ordered from B****e's and had to wait 5 months on to ship. These were shipped within 3 days as per their calendar as stated. The plants themselves are EXTREMELY nice, I would not hesitate to recommend GGP's to anyone looking to order online. You would think out of the (total of 62) plants all one of a kind, you would get some that were not so good looking, not so with this company. That is the experience I have had from ordering a FEW (1 to 3) of a kind from other sellers. NOT SO with GGP's. The only thing there were a few slimy leaves on some plants. That is because the leaves on these are so tightly concentrated close to one another and with moisture, it happens. I just pulled them off. These plants look like you went to GGP's location and hand picked them yourself, they are lush and full. When my second set arrived the other day, and I was unboxing them and taking the plastic bags off ALL 50, I was thinking to myself what have I done, LOL. It was a bit time consuming and it was hot and humid ( Ga.). It was a must getting them out of the plastic bags, and I got through it. Everyday I go out and admire them. I am particularly looking forward to fall when the color changes, as I needed a ground cover and preferred year round interest. Price is a considering factor for me or I would order so much more. I cannot stress enough the quality of what I received from GGP's as compared to other nurseries online. I haven't ordered from all nurseries but I have ordered from a good number of them over the years. The shipping, plant quality, and packaging is non comparable to other nurseries I have ordered from, I would give more stars if I could. I also have contacted customer service (not for a problem, but information) and Abby was as nice as could be. Thank you, GGP's, without the BOGO I would never have been able to make a dent in what I needed in quantity to help stop erosion. I am very happy and until these 50 get planted, my yard is looking like a nursery. I had a hard time deciding on the type of Ajuga as they were all colorful and basically have the same traits, length and spread, with blue flowers, except the darker variety is dark. Since I had ordered the first 12 in this variety when BOGO was offered, I went with the same plant. I forgot to mention as well, a good many of them received have blue flowers as well. It appears to me this company has pride in what they offer and it shows across the board. Not once but twice happy and well satisfied. I have never had such a large order before and all items received pure quality, I did not know that could happen based on experience with other suppliers. GGP's, you are an exception.
