Description
Plant spacing is based on the ultimate width of the plants. This figure is normally given as a range; for example, 3-5’. If you live in a cold climate and/or want plants to fill in more quickly, plan to space at the shorter end of the range. If you live in a warm climate, are on a limited budget, or are willing to wait longer for plants to touch, use the higher end of the range. Using the larger number is recommended when calculating distance from a building or structure. There’s really no such thing as "maximum spacing": if you don’t want your plants to touch, you can space them as far apart as you’d like. All plant spacing is calculated on center, or in other words, the centers of the plants are spaced one half of their eventual width apart:
Unless you are planting in a straight line, as you might for hedges or edging, space your plants in a staggered or zig-zag pattern for a more interesting and naturalistic look:

The quality of the plants are fantastic
I could not love this Luminary Ultraviolet Tall Phlox more. They give a gorgeous pop of color. I had over 10 plants and bought more this year. I love them. They are by far my favorite tall phlox. In the shade they appear more purple, which I love. These are about 3 years old.
Fast growing and beautiful
I can’t write a review yet. The plants came with a fungus which I’m sure you know since on the first delivery I called you and you told me to buy copper fungicide ( should not have to) .I have to do that now with the second delivery also . So I’m not sure . Since I had to twice I’ll let you know if both orders survive. Then I’ll write my review so far I’m worried and unhappy. I’ll let ya know if they work out.
Plants arrived on July 20th and were well packaged. It was extremely hot in Arkansas, so decided to hold them on covered porch (unpacked) until yesterday when I planted them. They were growing nicely and looked good this morning. Will definitely considered ordering from your place again.
