Description
Plant spacing is based on the ultimate width of the plants. This figure is normally given as a range; for example, 3-5’. If you live in a cold climate and/or want plants to fill in more quickly, plan to space at the shorter end of the range. If you live in a warm climate, are on a limited budget, or are willing to wait longer for plants to touch, use the higher end of the range. Using the larger number is recommended when calculating distance from a building or structure. There’s really no such thing as "maximum spacing": if you don’t want your plants to touch, you can space them as far apart as you’d like. All plant spacing is calculated on center, or in other words, the centers of the plants are spaced one half of their eventual width apart:
Unless you are planting in a straight line, as you might for hedges or edging, space your plants in a staggered or zig-zag pattern for a more interesting and naturalistic look:

Lots of the most beloved fragrant plants bloom in spring and early summer; they’re the perfect way to welcome back the growing season and the return of spending time outdoors. We’re sharing some of our all-time favorite fragrant plants in spring here. Plant them and create your own fragrant memories this season!
After a few weeks these plants are all blooming and looking great. I can't wait until they fully mature.
Fast delivery ordered 10 of these beautiful flowers and everyone of the are doing great solid blooms and almost twice the size. I highly recommend this company greT quality and service!
I planted these “Paint the Town” dianthus about a month ago and so far they’re doing great! Blooming profusely! These hot pink babies really add a pop of color and look great with my chartreuse coral bells. (definitely hot pink, not red; don’t let the name fool you).
I've lost count of the number of plants I've purchased from your nursery. Your service is excellent in replacing those that didn't make it. However, when spring came around this year, not a single plant returned. Money, time, and care was all for naught. These included Dianthus, Iceplant, and two trumpet angels. The trumpets survived their first winter (barely) but came back and were looking beautiful till the colder weather kicked in. I even put tree covers over them this past winter as they had gotten too large to take into the house and I have no garage. Flowers make me smile and having cancer I need something to smile about. I'm also 80 years old and can't do a lot of work anymore, but I just might take a chance with the Dianthus. They are so beautiful.
