Description
Plant spacing is based on the ultimate width of the plants. This figure is normally given as a range; for example, 3-5’. If you live in a cold climate and/or want plants to fill in more quickly, plan to space at the shorter end of the range. If you live in a warm climate, are on a limited budget, or are willing to wait longer for plants to touch, use the higher end of the range. Using the larger number is recommended when calculating distance from a building or structure. There’s really no such thing as "maximum spacing": if you don’t want your plants to touch, you can space them as far apart as you’d like. All plant spacing is calculated on center, or in other words, the centers of the plants are spaced one half of their eventual width apart:
Unless you are planting in a straight line, as you might for hedges or edging, space your plants in a staggered or zig-zag pattern for a more interesting and naturalistic look:

Don't waste another season on a dull shade garden! Whether they are the classic green and unique blues, or purples and red hues, these leaves will give at least three seasons of color in your garden.
These arrived in beautiful condition. It's getting into later fall, so I'll need to cut them back until spring in the next month or so, but can't wait to see them when they come back next spring!
Very nice
While a few thrived, three different types of coral bells from here are dead. I've attached photos. Their refund policy refunds the amount paid minus discount codes and I ordered by plants with a bulk discount, which they will not honor to replace these plants. Therefore, their guarantee doesn't cover the cost of replacing these plants. I think this is a shady practice and will not buy again in the future. I'm building a home on 3 acres and will need all new landscaping, so it's their loss.
Plants (Coral Bells) all dead and totally dehydrated when they arrived. Attempted to resuscitate with no luck. Will not be buying here again.

I was very excited to get my plants, but when I got them, I was a little disappointed. They came down, some of them with dead leaves. They look sad. I was not sure what to do, but my husband’s idea was to plant them right away. My soil was ready for them. Some of them r perking up, but others r still sad.
