Dead on Arrival

I ordered Sunjoy Neo. First shipment was received with the soil dry as a bone and leaves extra crispy. I wrote the company and they were very nice to send me out a second one which

arrived in the same condition as the first. The company
went beyond expectations and gave me a refund.
Both of the barberry were planted... neither
show signs of life.
I give one star for plant condition and five stars for customer service for an avg.of 3 stars.

Sunjoy Barberry

I wrote an email to Great Gardens regarding 3 dead bushes. I wrote within 3 days of receiving my plants. I never received a response so I wrote a second email. Still no response. I have purchased close to $1,000 worth of plants this summer. 2021
Why no response??? 🙁
I went ahead a bought more to replace the three - because no one else sells plants this small …and I wanted them to match. But will not return as a customer again.

Barberry helps ticks, and spreads Lyme disease

Please do not grow barberry of any kind! It has been banned in the state of Connecticut after multiple studies show that, not only is it invasive, but it single-handedly fuels the population of ticks, specifically the ones that cause Lyme disease. Ticks LOVE barberry. You don't have to take my word for it--a quick google search will tell you everything you need to know. Unless you want more ticks on your property, do NOT plant this plant!
