Grow better plants!
Espoma Flower-tone is the fertilizer that we use in our own gardens at home, which gives us the confidence to offer it to you. The stony, long-lasting grains are easy to apply evenly and provide sustained nutrients during the growing season. This organic fertilizer is perfect for perennials of all types, but especially those that bloom.
In most cases, plants don't strictly require fertilizer, but you'll find that they grow more rapidly and bloom better if you apply a quality fertilizer according to the rate recommended on the package.
Bonus: this fertilizer is made in the US using solar power! Espoma Flower-Tone is an organic granular fertilizer that is applied directly to, or incorporated in, the soil.
Plant spacing is based on the ultimate width of the plants. This figure is normally given as a range; for example, 3-5’. If you live in a cold climate and/or want plants to fill in more quickly, plan to space at the shorter end of the range. If you live in a warm climate, are on a limited budget, or are willing to wait longer for plants to touch, use the higher end of the range. Using the larger number is recommended when calculating distance from a building or structure. There’s really no such thing as "maximum spacing": if you don’t want your plants to touch, you can space them as far apart as you’d like. All plant spacing is calculated on center, or in other words, the centers of the plants are spaced one half of their eventual width apart:
Unless you are planting in a straight line, as you might for hedges or edging, space your plants in a staggered or zig-zag pattern for a more interesting and naturalistic look:

Arrives as young plant
I bought two bags of fertilizer. I used it for my Elderberry Lemon Lace, wild flowers, perennials and annuals in my garden. It is smelly good stuff for my flowers and I love it. I used it all summer per instructions and I had lots of success.
Dog loves it. He dug up the plants I used it with, and ate the dirt. Highly recommend if you don't have a big dog!
Never received it
Distributed less than that which was prescribed in bag's directions to flowering plants about 4 weeks ago. Most gaura, sages, daisies, stopped reblooming until just yesterday after heavy rains. Returned to mixing 2 tablespoons/gallon water Miracle Grow for Flowers. .
Wish it came in larger size
