I bought a Happy Jack Clematis and it arrived in good condition and the planting instructions were very helpful. The plant is doing well and overall I am pleased with the experience.

It's a great addition to any graden

So far, so good.

I was a little worried about planting this in the middle of a very hot July, but it's thriving. The plant was very little when I planted it and I wasn't sure how it would do this late in the season, but it's done quite well.

Plant Growth

My plants arrived in good condition. One plant is growing like a weed and the other is not. They are two feet apart and were planted at the same time.

Happy Jack Purple Clematis

I purchased two at the same time. One has grown and climbing the trellis although no blooms which I didn't expect this late in the season. However, the second clematis has not grown an inch therefore a long way before climbing. I would give the first mentioned clematis a 5 star and the second planted clematis only a two star. That is why I gave the entire purchase only three stars. Hopefully they both will survive through the winter and bloom next year.
