Plant Spacing

Plant spacing is based on the ultimate width of the plants. This figure is normally given as a range; for example, 3-5’. If you live in a cold climate and/or want plants to fill in more quickly, plan to space at the shorter end of the range. If you live in a warm climate, are on a limited budget, or are willing to wait longer for plants to touch, use the higher end of the range. Using the larger number is recommended when calculating distance from a building or structure. There’s really no such thing as "maximum spacing": if you don’t want your plants to touch, you can space them as far apart as you’d like. All plant spacing is calculated on center, or in other words, the centers of the plants are spaced one half of their eventual width apart:

Burned & Dried Out

These plants were sent via FedEx during the hottest week of the summer. It was 93 the day I received them. I took them out of the box the moment they arrived, watered them, and put them in the dark for 24 hours (as instructed). The entire shrub was shriveled and some of the twigs looked black -- as if scorched. I planted and watered them within 48 hours; nonetheless, they look worse now. The leaves have continued to fall off because they are dead. I realize they are guaranteed for 60 days, but I wanted to post this and encourage folks to wait and not buy them when it's super hot out.

Didn’t like the condition of plant

It came very poor condition. almost all the leaves were dry and only two of them looked alive, I tried to plant the plant and let it recover a little, but unfortunately the plant died. Very dissatisfied with the condition in which the plant was sent to me.
