Instant Karma's gonna get you!

I got Instant Karma as a pollinator for Black Lace. To be honest, I wasn't terribly thrilled about the look of the leaves. But there are only a couple of pollinators for Black Lace, and this was the only one available at the time. It arrived as a healthy but small plant, so I didn't expect much the first year. It went into the ground on May 15 2021. It didn't do very much at all for the first 8 weeks, although it remained healthy and seemed to like where it was planted (full sun). Then, in July, it started to take off. Now it's become a large, lovely plant. The Black Lace plant produced a handful of berries, so Instant Karma seems to be doing its job in that department as well. I think next year it will really take off, and expect to see the bees from our hives all over it.

Beautiful!

I’d been on the hunt for this gem since it came out. Elderberry are so easy to care for and this one came in stellar. Yes it’s a small plant but these guys grow so quick!!! Can’t wait for it to fill in over the next couple years

Elderberry

I loved them, but they are all but dead & I don’t know why. I watered them regularly.

they are doing their first year thing wonderfully

Great in container even through heat.

Bought my Elderberry Instant Karma back in April as a pollinator for my Black Lace Elderberry. It has established well in a 16" container & makes a great visual contrast with the 'Black Lace'.
