Plant Spacing

Plant spacing is based on the ultimate width of the plants. This figure is normally given as a range; for example, 3-5’. If you live in a cold climate and/or want plants to fill in more quickly, plan to space at the shorter end of the range. If you live in a warm climate, are on a limited budget, or are willing to wait longer for plants to touch, use the higher end of the range. Using the larger number is recommended when calculating distance from a building or structure. There’s really no such thing as "maximum spacing": if you don’t want your plants to touch, you can space them as far apart as you’d like. All plant spacing is calculated on center, or in other words, the centers of the plants are spaced one half of their eventual width apart:

Anna’s Magic Balls arborvitae

I was very excited to receive the plants and put them in my yard. I was disappointed that they were small like babies when I received . I did not read the fine print on website . Sadly one of the five plants looks to be struggling to survive if it has not already died off. It’s too early to tell about other four. They still have greenish color to them so I guess they are surviving but I’m not seeing any growth since planting them 2 months ago.If possible I would like a refund back for the one plant . Thank you

Sadly not a survivor

My magic ball arrived a little smushed from the transit but it looked otherwise okay. I followed the guide book and kept it sheltered for about 48 hours before moving it outdoors. Unfortunately, this evergreen did not survive. It turned brown and died. The other two plants I ordered are doing great, though.
