SHADE ONLY!!!

From my own personal experience, I refute the claim that these are for partial shade. THEY NEED FULL SHADE. I planted in an area of the garden where there was maybe a half to and hour of direct sunlight and it almost killed them. Each afternoon the leaves and stems completely wilted to the ground; looked like all 4 were goners. I replanted them in full shade and now they are thriving. Maybe a little sun in the early morning is fine, but ZERO afternoon sun and heat or you will kill them. As small plants they are less than amazing, and far from color expectations. I'm hoping when they are more mature and blooming I will appreciate them. Maybe these are "proven winners", but I will get back to you on that.

Hello Kenneth!
Thank you for your feedback, we're happy to hear you found the perfect spot for your plant. As a general rule, heucherellas do well in shade, but for the highly colored varieties, some morning sun will bring out more intense coloring. Color can wash out in full sun and too much heat and light can cause the leaves to scorch. If you have any other questions don't hesitate to reach out to our team. Happy gardening!

Great foliage

Received plants in great condition. Can’t wait to incorporate these plants into my shade garden. Has beautiful pink buds on the plants to give a small splash of color on top of the beautiful variegated leaves. You won’t be disappointed.
