Hydrangea Vanilla Strawberry® Description
The big, cone-shaped blooms of Vanilla Strawberry hydrangea (Hydrangea paniculata) emerge a creamy white in mid-summer. As the season progresses and temperatures cool, they begin to take on pink tones, eventually changing to deep rose.
This hydrangea is very hardy, thriving from the chilly North to the steamy South. It makes a very nice cut flower, either fresh or dried.
Long-blooming Vanilla Strawberry™ makes a superb companion to the drought-proof ornamental grasses, late-blooming sedums, and Knock Out roses.
Special features: Cut flower, Dried flower, Easy care, Fast growing, Heat tolerant, Long blooming, Multi-seasonal interest

Water: Water to keep soil moist, but not wet.
Spacing: 5 - 6 ft.
Fertilizing: Fertilize once in spring with a fertilizer designed to encourage blooms (such as 15-30-15).
Winterizing: Remove and destroy any fallen foliage that was infected by powdery mildew.
Maintenance & pruning: Little pruning is needed beyond removing any dead wood whenever seen. If desired, plants can be cut back as needed in early spring. Blooms on new wood.
ReviewsWrite a reviewVANILLA STRAWBERRY HYDRANGEALesleigh Graham | May 25, 2018I ordered 3 Hydrangea's on line because I was having a hard time finding Vanilla Strawberry in a store. I didn't read the shipping costs so was surprised because I thought it was very expensive (my fault because I didn't read in enough detail) . However, the plants arrived and were A+++ condition. Extremely healthy and vigorous. I'm very happy with the service & the hydrangea's.
Thank YouAlice K | May 15, 2017I received my order of hydrangeas and just wanted to thank you. They arrived when you said they would and were packaged so well that all were in great shape. Thank you and I look forward to ordering more of your plants in the future!
