Artemisia 'Powis Castle' Description
Artemesia 'Powis Castle' is a drought proof sun perennial with 3+ seasons of interest. Blue-gray foliage is one of nature's sign of a plant with low water needs and Powis Castle is right at home in a dry garden. Powis Castle has lacy silvery-gray leaves that emit a fragrance when you brush up against it. Stunning in mass plantings, as a border plant or spilling over a rock wall. Resembles Silver Mound, but woodier and taller.
Rounded form compliments nicely with spiked plants and used to separate bold colors in the perennial sun garden. Great addition to the water wise garden , give it good drainage and room to spread.
