Description
Plant spacing is based on the ultimate width of the plants. This figure is normally given as a range; for example, 3-5’. If you live in a cold climate and/or want plants to fill in more quickly, plan to space at the shorter end of the range. If you live in a warm climate, are on a limited budget, or are willing to wait longer for plants to touch, use the higher end of the range. Using the larger number is recommended when calculating distance from a building or structure. There’s really no such thing as "maximum spacing": if you don’t want your plants to touch, you can space them as far apart as you’d like. All plant spacing is calculated on center, or in other words, the centers of the plants are spaced one half of their eventual width apart:
Unless you are planting in a straight line, as you might for hedges or edging, space your plants in a staggered or zig-zag pattern for a more interesting and naturalistic look:

Blue star creeper (Isotoma fluviatilis) is a ground cover native to Australia and New Zealand that has gained popularity worldwide. This ground cover is low maintenance, can tolerate heavy foot traffic, and adds color and charm to any outdoor space. Here, we’ll show you how to grow blue star creeper, how to use blue star creeper, and answer frequently asked questions.
It was bad enough that the blue star creeper I ordered came several days after the expected delivery date. But to add insult to injury, the plant was mailed loose in an oversized box with no packing material. I opened the box to discover a half inch of dirt on the bottom of the box, an empty planter in one corner, and my plant stuffed in the opposite corner of the box, roots exposed and in several pieces. I tried to save it, but it died a few days later. I have ordered from many different garden websites in the past and I have never had any plant I ordered packed so carelessly. This plant wasn't cheap nor was the shipping, so to say I was disappointed was an understatement. I should have done my research, since this company has many one-star reviews on various consumer websites. Well, now that I know better, I'm never ordering a single thing from this website ever again.
Plants came in healthy. Planted and are coming in nicely.
From the ordering process to receiving healthy well packaged plants everything was great. Would definitely recommend Great Garden Plants to anyone!
This plant literally showed up and was beautiful! However, as soon as I planted it, it started to wilt. The next day it was turning yellow and dying. I’m a very experienced gardener (indoor and outdoor) and I’m known for my green thumb. I didn’t do anything wrong with this plant. The other one I bought with the blue star creeper is doing wonderful.
