Description
Plant spacing is based on the ultimate width of the plants. This figure is normally given as a range; for example, 3-5’. If you live in a cold climate and/or want plants to fill in more quickly, plan to space at the shorter end of the range. If you live in a warm climate, are on a limited budget, or are willing to wait longer for plants to touch, use the higher end of the range. Using the larger number is recommended when calculating distance from a building or structure. There’s really no such thing as "maximum spacing": if you don’t want your plants to touch, you can space them as far apart as you’d like. All plant spacing is calculated on center, or in other words, the centers of the plants are spaced one half of their eventual width apart:
Unless you are planting in a straight line, as you might for hedges or edging, space your plants in a staggered or zig-zag pattern for a more interesting and naturalistic look:

Ground covers are powerhouses when it comes to the garden. They effortlessly fill those tough-to-grow sites that are usually ignored, like tight spaces, gaps between stepping stones, slopes, or shady understories. Fight plants with plants and transform your garden into a lush landscape in the process with these ground covers.
The plants were very well-packed. The plants were healthy - and started taking off immediately. I had to move 2 plants after a big tree fell down in a storm - and even they are doing quite well. I was trying them out (first time I have ordered from this company) I will be back next year for more!
I’ve bought and planted quite a few plug trays over the years both locally and via the internet. These were the deepest plugs I've ever seen and the root balls were at the perfect state of strong and fibrous roots clinging to the soil without being root bound. Just Perfect.
These are amazing. I should have ordered a third flat. Now i have to wait for them to be available again.
Last year, I ordered a flat of the Chocolate Chip Bugleweed to put into a small garden bordering our deck. I planted them at one of the closer spacings, and they took off and looked great all last summer! I just took a picture of what they look like now after less than a year - that's the pic with the blue flowers. I was SO happy with them that I made another little garden on the other side of our deck this spring, ordered another flat (which came beautifully packaged), and planted them yesterday (that's the pic with the little plants). I thought you might like to see the comparison! The garden with the blue flowers looked exactly like the new planting less than a year ago. What a fantastic plant!
Loved it. The plugs were large and well rooted. Would buy more of a different flavor if they came in plugs like these did
