Plant Spacing

Plant spacing is based on the ultimate width of the plants. This figure is normally given as a range; for example, 3-5’. If you live in a cold climate and/or want plants to fill in more quickly, plan to space at the shorter end of the range. If you live in a warm climate, are on a limited budget, or are willing to wait longer for plants to touch, use the higher end of the range. Using the larger number is recommended when calculating distance from a building or structure. There’s really no such thing as "maximum spacing": if you don’t want your plants to touch, you can space them as far apart as you’d like. All plant spacing is calculated on center, or in other words, the centers of the plants are spaced one half of their eventual width apart:

Color Spires® 'Indiglo Girl' Salvia

These plants were quite wilted from shipping. We had little rain, so I followed the directions and kept them in a shady area to help them bounce back. This is the reason for the 4 stars instead of 5. With some TLC they recovered and are in a sunny location. They have not bloomed yet. We will see how the next year is for them.

Most All Plants Died

Disappointed, I spent over $1200 with this company and all plants except for 2 have died. I’ve tested the soil to ensure it’s at the optimal level, I put in watering systems to ensure each section received only the amount of water it required along with proper fertilizing steps and ensuring each plant has the optimal amount of light of the plants have lasted out of the 40 or so I purchased.

I love my plants but the deer love them more

All of my plants looked ( look) wonderful, but 6 of them have to be under wire mesh do the deer don’t eat them. They pull them right out of the ground😞
