Description
Plant spacing is based on the ultimate width of the plants. This figure is normally given as a range; for example, 3-5’. If you live in a cold climate and/or want plants to fill in more quickly, plan to space at the shorter end of the range. If you live in a warm climate, are on a limited budget, or are willing to wait longer for plants to touch, use the higher end of the range. Using the larger number is recommended when calculating distance from a building or structure. There’s really no such thing as "maximum spacing": if you don’t want your plants to touch, you can space them as far apart as you’d like. All plant spacing is calculated on center, or in other words, the centers of the plants are spaced one half of their eventual width apart:
Unless you are planting in a straight line, as you might for hedges or edging, space your plants in a staggered or zig-zag pattern for a more interesting and naturalistic look:

If I had been able to buy these locally, I would have done it. Sadly, out of the 14 plants, only 2 arrived properly packed. The rest were spilled inside the box. For the cost, I feel that they were quite small. They were alive and, hopefully, they will thrive.

It wasn’t packaged correctly. The soil and plant pieces were loose all throughout the box it was shipped in. I won’t be ordering anything else from this company.

I am out of state trying to help my dying mother-in-law and her stroke victim spouse. The wanted some landscaping done while I’m here. So I ordered some plants to be shipped the day after I would know definitively if I would have to go home (due to illness back there) before the plants would arrive. As soon as I discovered that I would not be here to put the plants in the ground, I canceled the order that was due to ship out the next day. When I called today to verify that the order had been stopped, they said it had shipped early. I won’t be here. My in-laws will not be able to do anything with the plants, including refusing or returning them, and I am out hundreds of dollars. I will never buy from or recommend GGP ever again.

I put them in shaded area thinking they might be needing that - a couple of days before putting them in morning sun , but they just look dead , I’m still watering them hoping they will come to live
