Plant spacing is based on the ultimate width of the plants. This figure is normally given as a range; for example, 3-5’. If you live in a cold climate and/or want plants to fill in more quickly, plan to space at the shorter end of the range. If you live in a warm climate, are on a limited budget, or are willing to wait longer for plants to touch, use the higher end of the range. Using the larger number is recommended when calculating distance from a building or structure. There’s really no such thing as "maximum spacing": if you don’t want your plants to touch, you can space them as far apart as you’d like. All plant spacing is calculated on center, or in other words, the centers of the plants are spaced one half of their eventual width apart:
Unless you are planting in a straight line, as you might for hedges or edging, space your plants in a staggered or zig-zag pattern for a more interesting and naturalistic look:

DescriptionEnjoy beauty without sacrificing durability with Sunsparkler® 'Dream Dazzler' sedum (Sedum sp.) This colorful groundcover features a tricolor effect of pink, white, and purple, giving way to plumpish dark purple, slightly scalloped leaves trimmed in wide hot pink margins. You can expect hundreds of butterfly-loving magenta pink blooms to cover this pretty plant in late summer.
'Dream Dazzler' is incredibly durable and easy to care for. Whether you've struggled to care for plants in the past or you're a green thumb, everyone will appreciate the low maintenance nature of sedum. Drought-tolerant and deer resistant, this groundcover thrives in almost any condition. Tuck it into a border or pathway or pair it with other succulents for a durable and vibrant container. Wherever you plant this showy sedum, it's sure to add lovely, long-lasting color to your garden.DetailsBotanical name:Sedum rupestre 'Dream Dazzler' Patent #: USPP 31,227 Common name: Sedum, stone crop Zone: 4 - 9 Sun exposure: Sun (6+ hours sun) Height x width: 8" x 18" Flower color: Raspberry Foliage color: Purple and pink Season of Interest: Summer-fall Uses: Accent, container gardening, cottage gardening, massing, ornamental, small spaces, specimen. How To GrowSoil: Needs well-draining soil. Thrives even in sandy to gravelly soils of moderate to low fertility. Light: Does best in full sun but appreciates some protection from harsh sun and heat exposure in very hot summer regions. Water: Average to dry. Considered drought-tolerant once established. Overwatering will impair growth. Spacing: 18 in. Fertilizing: On average, sedum seldom needed to be fertilized. A handful of all-purpose granular fertilizer sprinkled on the soil each spring is generally all that is needed for poorer soils. If growing in rich soil, it should only be fertilized every other year. Dry granular fertilizers must be watered into the soil. Winterizing: Does not need mulch in the winter. Remove the debris (such as the remains of showy sedums) from under and around your plants in the late fall and continue to remove any debris as it accumulates. Small animals and bugs may take home in accumulated debris during cold weather. Maintenance & Pruning: Can cut back in Autumn, after flowering. Divide in spring.
The sedum plants are fantastic. They arrived well prepared in the shipping box.

The plant are very pretty. I placed them near window and they are doing great
Worth waiting for!
I was so disappointed when this was Sold Out early in the season, BUT tickled pink when I was notified later on that new stock was available. The plants arrived healthy (clearly from recent cuttings), and have thrived ever since I planted them. Now, I just have to hope they successfully overwinter. Thanks, GG!

Such a fun color!
I ordered several of these for a sunny spot that needed to fill in. The plants were gorgeous when they arrived, easy to plant, and are all thriving!
